Why we built MyCandidate.ai

MyCandidate.ai is recruiting software built around a single belief — the recruiter’s judgment is the product, and the rest is admin worth automating.

From the founder

MyCandidate.ai started with a question that came up again and again in the advisory work behind the product: why do skilled recruiters spend so much of the day on paperwork?

The pattern showed up in every conversation. Write-ups, reformatted resumes, candidate profiles rebuilt by hand — hours of careful work the client never sees and the recruiter never gets back. The judgment and the relationships, the part that actually places people, got whatever time was left.

More software wasn’t the answer; they already had plenty of software. The answer was software that takes the admin off the recruiter’s plate and holds the firm’s standard while it does — so the writing still reads like the firm, and the evaluation still reflects the partner’s judgment.

That’s what we built. One workspace, end to end, for the work only a recruiter can do.
