Terms of service
The terms that govern your use of the MyCandidate.ai website and platform. Please read them carefully.
About these terms
MyCandidate.ai is a recruitment platform provided by Bridges & Barriers Advisory Service, Inc. (“we”, “us”), based in California, USA. These terms govern your use of the MyCandidate.ai website and platform (the “service”).
Paid use of the platform may also be covered by a separate service agreement between us and your firm. If that agreement and these terms conflict, the service agreement controls.

Acceptable use
You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You agree not to:
Your data and responsibilities
You keep ownership of the data your firm puts into the service, including candidate data. You grant us the rights needed to process that data so we can provide the service.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis and any necessary consent to upload candidate data — including resumes, interview recordings, and notes — and for using the service in line with the employment and privacy laws that apply to you.
AI-assisted output
The service uses AI to score candidates and draft documents. This output is a starting point, not a decision. You are responsible for reviewing it, and hiring decisions remain with your firm. We do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, or free of bias.
Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information — on our side, the non-public details of the platform; on yours, your firm’s data — and use it only as needed to work together.
Intellectual property
The service, MyCandidate.ai, and all related intellectual property remain solely with Bridges & Barriers Advisory Service, Inc.. These terms do not grant you any right to our intellectual property, except the limited right to use the service under an active subscription.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new date, and continued use means you accept the changes.
